Environment Policy
It is the policy of the Group to give the highest priority to the continual improvement of the environment both within the organisation and externally where the actions of the Group have influence. Particular emphasis is given to restrict and where possible eliminate the release of volatile organic compounds and minimize energy consumption. Recycling also plays a prominent role in all our daily site operations.
Makevale conducts its global operations to comply with all existing UK environmental legislation, amongst the toughest green legislation in the world. We work very hard to minimise the risk of all forms of pollution and lower our carbon footprint.
Managers and employees at all levels in the Group are encouraged and trained to see this policy work. The fulfilment of this policy is a team effort that often involves working closely with our partners to realise environmental objectives.
The Group continually invests into achieving these aims, setting targets against which our performance is constantly monitored.
